Sunfire can now be unlocked for recruiting by completing a series of tasks in Marvel Avengers Alliance. Most of them take place in Season 2, Charter 3 i.e. the latest chapter available (which also makes it a prime time to unlock the Daredevil gold suit). Here are the tasks needed in order (you have about 3 weeks to complete them before they expire):

Spec Ops 15 launched today for Marvel Avengers Alliance. It's a lesser known storyline this time around featuring the villain Arcade as both the main boss and group boss. Up for grabs for finishing your Spec Ops tasks is Nico Minoru. If you manage to collect enough Lockboxes for luck to win out, you can also get Moonstone. Chapter 3 of Season 2 of Marvel Avengers Alliance is out, revealing more of the story behind the Circle of Eight and dangling the gold Original Daredevil costume as the reward for finishing all the Chapter's tasks. The patch also fixed a few item bugs and included some major changes to Daredevil, Hank Pym, and The Wasp and minor changes to others:

Season 14 of PVP for Marvel Avengers Alliance just launched yesterday and brings with it a couple of balance changes and two new heroes for grabs. Big changes include splitting the armory bonuses between your attacking and defensive teams with a one time reset available. Prevalent weapons from last season: the Vigilante Toolkit and its various components, the Protector of Attilan combo, and avoidance effects have all been nerfed to some extent. Domino is the PVP reward if you manage to finish in Adamantium and Sabretooth is available if you get lucky with lockboxes (or just manage to get a lot). Here are the full patch notes:
