Marvel Avenger's Alliance - Patch Notes 2/28/13

Marvel Avenger's Alliance received a small patch at the end of last month and they just released the notes.

Not terribly exciting. They just mention making Mockingbird and the P5 costumes available for a very limited time and some gift changes. Oh and you can get Magnetic Lockboxes in Daily Lotto now.

Here are the notes:


1st Anniversary
Our fans are awesome!. As a gift to everyone who has made this such an amazing year, we’re doing 3 things.
  • The Fan’s Choice poll has ended and the fans have spoken. For a Limited Time Only, Mockingbird and the Phoenix Five costumes are available in the store!
  • What’s a party without cake? Now in the gift page you will find Anniversary Cake for a limited time only. Use it in battle for a festive surprise!
  • Lastly, everyone likes a party favor to show you were there. Visit the Marvel: Avengers Alliance fan page on Facebook to claim your 1 year anniversary reward at 3 pm PST, 01 March 2013.

Additional fixes/items
  • The Lost Page of the Vishanti, a new item that heals players and removes debuffs, is available via the gift page and friend maps.
  • Unstable Iso-8 has been removed from the friend maps for this spec op and will return with Spec Op 7.
  • Valentines cards have been removed from the gift page and friend maps. As such the gift page has been adjusted to have several additional items in it including:
    • Shawarma
    • Mystical Munition
    • Drinking Horn
    • Lost Page of the Vishanti
    • Anniversary Cake
  • The Daily Bonus has been updated with some new rewards including Magnetic Lockboxes. This Daily Bonus table will be available until the next Spec Op begins.

Once you hit level 6 Fishing in Forsaken World , there's an achievement "World Fisherman" you can get by fishing at various points with Special Bait . What is Special Bait? Special Bait is bait used to fish up special items and regular fish in certain areas. Unfortunately, the game doesn't tell you where these points are. Fortunately for you, I've been fishing about and recording my catches which you can reference to below. How to Get Special Bait You can either buy Special Bait from other players or the AH. Otherwise, you'll have to make your own. To get the recipe, you'll have to fish up Crystal Shells from Rainbow Island (where the Puppet of Storms are located). The fish rate of Crystal Shells are pretty poor and it may take you several days to get the 20 Crystal Shells needed to exchange with Dotoro for one of several Special Bait recipes. Special Bait can also be traded with Hemmer in 100 count allotments for special titles and rewards....
